Note: Between all these interesting, blog-worthy activities, plenty of plain old boring life happens. (Grocery shopping, toilet-scrubbing, cooking, laundry, math, spelling, etc.) Today, however, we ditched school & work and went to the zoo.
During every trip to the zoo, at least one animal is doing something embarrassing. This time it was the otter.
R: "What is he doing?"
Me: "Cleaning himself."
R: "Well, that is inappropriate."

Wow, you captured some really nice pictures. Looks like a great time of year to go, everything is so green and lush in the background. Or maybe that's because of the rain you get.

Haha--Brie would have also called that inappropriate. She's recently obsessed with calling all manner of things "unappropriate"--a day at the zoo is a day of (mostly) painless, fun learning.
