Non-virtual Activities

It's amazing how much time a person can spend not online. At least, I've been not online quite a bit lately. I have no photographic evidence of my activities, but my kids and Spouse have recorded their movements over the last month. Here goes...

Cousin Conner visited, and the Spouse took him all over the place

Moulton Falls

Beacon Rock

APE Cave

Odd-looking but tasty (the birthday dessert, not the Spouse)

A couple new friends

National News

Most mornings, I check an online newspaper to keep abreast of current events. Here are a few headlines I've jotted down in the last few months. You can't make this stuff up:

Doomsday bunkers for sale in Mojave Desert
Seattle Times 5/18/10

Chicago hoarders found buried alive under trash
Seattle Times 5/25/10

Jury deadlocks in nude cycling case
The Columbian 5/28/10

Buffalo head falls, traps man snoozing in recliner
Seattle Times 6/11/10

Scientists study the "modern miracle" of Ozzy Osbourne's survival
Seattle Times 7/1/10

Ex-champ storms stage, gets arrested at hot dog contest
Seattle Times 7/5/10

Truck driver chokes on pork rinds, ends in ditch
Seattle Times 7/13/10

Michigan man says he's grateful dog chewed off toe
Seattle Times 8/5/10

Never once have I actually clicked on a headline and read one of these articles. I don't want to know.
