God is not disturbed
There are some difficult things going on right now, locally, with friends. Wrenching, hurting things. I don't know how else to say it. If I try to think about the circumstances, my mind hits a wall.
"The sorrows of death encompassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid." (Psalm 18:4)
But God is not disturbed.
He cares and wants to comfort us. He is love and light, and the Alpha and Omega, but He is not disturbed. At least not the way we are.
On today's calendar was Colossians 1:17, "...by Him all things consist." The word consist means are held together. By Him all things are held together.
God is undisturbed by all this chaos;
His purposes He's working just the same,
And in this day of ruin and declension,
He's gathering a people for his name.
As He looks down on all the vast profession,
He knows each heart, that truly loves His name,
And in His sight, they precious are, and spotless,
Because their trust is placed in God's own Son.

Here's another poem, if you want to approach all this from another angle. I don't know who wrote this one, either:
Sorrow and adversity at times would break the heart;
But God Almighty knows the end,
And we just know the start.
"In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God; he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears." (Psalm 18:6)
